The next speaker in the Wayne County Historical Society's "Food for Thought" series is Ken Sproson, who will speak on the "Stourbridge Lion," the first locomotive to run on commercial track in the U. S. The Wayne County Historical Society museum is the home of the Stourbridge Lion replica, a working model of the original. The talk is scheduled for 30 pm on August 8, the 181th anniversary of the initial run. The WCHS museum will be open free of charge on that day in celebration of the anniversary. The following week, August 15, Gloria McCullough and Ann O'Hara will speak on "Early Families of Honesdale".
