Press Release: WCHS Salutes John Mazzga as "People Who Have Made a Difference in Wayne County Agriculture"
At the J. B. Park Farm Museum on Friday, August 3, the Wayne County Historical Society presented its "People Who Make a Difference in Wayne County Agriculture" award for 2007 to John Mazzga, dairy farmer and Farm Bureau activist for over fifty years. Shown are (l to r) Marlyn Shaffer (a past winner of the award) Dave Williams (a State Director for the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau and WCHS trustee), who presented the award, Sally Talaga (WCHS Executive Director), Mr. Mazzga, Ann O'Hara (WCHS Trustee) and Linda Dix Lee (WCHS Trustee and Chair of the society's Farm Museum Committee. The award is given each year to a member of the Wayne County farming community.
