Press Release: Food for Thought "Battle of Minisink"

The July 25 speaker in the Wayne County Historical Society's "Food for Thought" series is George J. Fluhr, Pike County Historian, who will speak on "The Battle of Minisink." The battle, which took place 370 years ago this month above the Delaware River near Lackawaxen, pitted settlers against a band of British suppored Indians led by Joseph Brant, with disastrous results for the settlers.
