"Jailer" Dick Kreitner (left) will be on hand to greet visitors to the Old Stone Jail, between the Wayne County Court House and 10th Street in Honesdale, Saturday, June 5, from 10 am to 1 pm. Kreitner and his corps of volunteers, including Jim Bader (right) will lead free tours of the jail and tell stories of escapes, suicides and even the birth of a baby girl within the forbidding stone walls. Built in 1859, the jail celebrated its 150th birthday last year.
