Press Release: Towpath to Trail Project Workday

Fourteen volunteers recently logged over fifty hours of work on the Wayne County Historical Society's Towpath to Trail Project one mile west of Hawley, on Rt 6. Several are pictured above. The work consisted of moving grass and cutting brush on the one-mile of towpath trail, within the lock, and around lock 31 house; litter pick up; sash replacement; and interior cleaning of lock house.
