Press Release: WCHS 2010 Ornament Now Available


The Wayne County Historical Society has received its new 2010 ornament - this year depicting the historic Bethel one-room schoolhouse. The school, built around 1870, is owned by Wayne County, and during the summer months the Wayne County Historical Society presents special programs at the school. Remaining open houses this summer will be on July 25 and August 29 from 1 to 4 pm, with special presentations at 2 pm. The ornament is once again priced at $17.50 plus tax and is available at the Society's Museum Shop at 810 Main St. and other locations.
