Press Release: Rutherford Speaks On War Hero at Wayne County Historical Society

This Saturday, May 16, from 30 to 5:30 pm, Albert G. "Ab" Rutherford will kick off the Wayne County Historical Society's "Food for Thought" series of talks on local history Rutherford's topic is David McKelvy Peterson, a Honesdale boy who became America's first World War I ace. The free talks will be held in the multi-pose room of the museum, and light refreshments will be served.

On Saturday, May 23, Mimi Steffen will speak on "Rural Schools of Wayne County."
