Press Release: A Very Special Brunch on Secret Garden Tour

One of the most spectacular gardens on the Wayne County Historical Society's Secret Garden Tour on Sunday, June 13, is at the home of Tom Colbert and Alan Kehoe in Hawley, and from 10 am to 12 noon, Tom and Alan will offer a very special Sunday brunch to twelve Secret Garden "Tourists," on a first-come first-served basis. Alan Kehoe is a well-known caterer both in New York City and Wayne County and has come up with a tempting menu:

Mimosa or Sparkling Wine, Sparkling Water First Course: Salmon Mousse, Fancy Greens, Toast Points Second Course: Eggs Benedict, Diced Roasted Potatoes Pound Cake, Lemon Cake, Fruit Coffee, Decaf, Tea

The brunch is available to Secret Garden ticket holders only, and the $50 combination price includes the complete garden tour plus brunch between 10 am and 12 noon. Advance reservations for the brunch are a necessity, and the combination tickets are available at the Wayne County Historical Society, 810 Main St., Honesdale between 10 am and 4 pm Wednesday through Saturday, or by phone or email with a credit card at 570-253-3240 or wchshop@ptd.net. Tickets for the Secret Garden Tour alone are $15. The Wayne County Historical Society is most grateful to Alan and Tom for hosting this very special fund-raising event.
