Press Release: WCHS Holiday Open House Saturday November 24th

This Saturday, November 24th the Wayne County Historical Society will hold its annual Holiday Open House. This event is free of charge and open to the public from 00-7:00pm. Enjoy live music, home made goodies, and the holiday decorations while taking one last peak at the exhibits before the museum closes for 15 weeks starting in January. Author, Ab Rutherford, will be on hand signing copies of his books 100 Year History of Honesdale National Bank and Boyds Mill Press's Stourbridge Lion. Kathy LaTournous will be in the museum shop with her cut glass for sale from 4 to 7. If his health permits, Kathy's father, Ray, will also attend and be stationed near the glass exhibit. The DVD documentary of his life, released by WCHS this past summer, is for sale in the shop and on line www.WayneHistoryPA.org

The cash raffle drawing will take place at 00. If you haven't purchased a raffle ticket yet, stop in at the Historical Society at 810 Main Street and purchase one for $5.00. First prize is $1,000!
