Press Release: WCHS's Heritage Walkway

The Wayne County Historical Society's Heritage Walkway, a new local landmark, has been laid next to the Society's building at 810 Main Street, but commemorative bricks can still be added until the space is filled. Funds generated by the bricks went toward construction of the new John and Helen Villaume addition, which opened in May, and will continue to be applied to the building's mortgage. Bricks are inscribed with the name of the donor or the names of ancestors or living friends and relatives. Prices range from $100 to $350 and forms can be picked up at the Wayne County Historical Society, 810 Main Street, Honesdale, Wednesday through Saturday 10 am to 4 pm, or requested by phone (570-253-3240) or email (wchshop@ptd.net) or downloaded from the Wayne County Historical Society website, www.waynehistorypa.org.
