Press Release: WCHS Fall Festival - Doug Smith


Doug Smith has been a full-time professional musician since 1968, playing concerts, jazz festivals, night clubs, resorts, public schools and universities. He was awarded Artist of the Year in NEPA by the PCA Arts in Education Program in 2002. The Doug Smith Orchestra featuring Paulette Costa will be featured at the Wayne County Historical Society's Harvest Festival on September 26.

The Wayne County Historical Society's annual Harvest Festival fundraiser has been scheduled for Sunday, September 26, from 5 to 9 pm at the Bryn Mawr Mountain Retreat and Conference Center. In addition to a bountiful harvest buffet dinner (including wine, beer and soda) and silent auction, this year's entertainment will be provided by the Doug Smith Orchestra featuring Paulette Costa. Casual dress (jeans are fine) and dancing to the music of the fifties and sixties by this very popular group are encouraged. Tickets are $50 for adults, $20 for children 6-12and children under 6 are free.
